At Local Ride Racing we are incredibly proud of our achievements for women’s cycling in Canada. What began as a handful of local athletes riding together blossomed into a program that supported 2012 Olympic Medalists Laura Brown, Jasmin Glaesser, and Gillian Carleton, along with fellow World Cup Champion Steph Roorda and many more. Barry Lyster coached his daughter, Maggie Coles-Lyster, to win 3 medals at Junior Track World Championships including a gold medal. We are committed to our mission of developing the sport and allowing young women to pursue their biggest two-wheeled dreams.
